Emma Stibbon exhibitions

4th Jun 2018

A drawing by Emma Stibbon features in Ice-cold: The dark side of power, at the ERES Foundation, Munich. The exhibition features works which articulate the sense that our contemporary condition is defined by futility and resignation brought about by humanity's hostility and self-destruction. Stibbon draws environments that are undergoing dynamic change. Additionally Stibbon's drawing Steam, Pu'u O'o, 2016, (pictured) is featured in an exhibition at the Russel-Coates Museum, Bournemouth, which coincides with the 250th anniversary of the Royal Academy.

Stibbon has participated in several international residences, with recent work made at the Annapurna Range, Nepal, with Project Pressure (2017) and at the Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park (2016).
