brings together forty international female artists who challenge the categories of craft, art and design. Curated by critic Karen Wright, the exhibition highlights the possibilities and processes of knitting, embroidery, weaving and wood carving as well as focusing on the artists' often unexpected use of materials such as hair and plants. The artists featured, including Anni Albers
, span many different cultures and generations but share a fascination with the handmade as part of the creative process.
