Richard Serra: Prints
is a comprehensive retrospective of Serra’s
work in printmaking, from his first lithographs in 1972, through to his Reversals
series of 2015. The exhibition will provide viewers with a greater understanding of Serra’s
labour intensive, highly physical method of print making.
Serra's monumental steel sculpture My Curves Are Not Mad (1987) will be in the Nasher Garden and Inverted House of Cards (1969-70) will be displayed in the gallery alongside Serra's prints, demonstrating how his sculpture informs his printing practice. Richard Serra: Prints
will be at the Nasher Sculpture Centre, Dallas, Texas, 28 Jan until April 2017.
