A life-size sculpture by Antony Gormley, dramatically suspended from the ceiling of the National Portrait Gallery's Main Hall, forms a focal point for OBJECT, a display that includes a selection of drawings depicting a solitary figure occupying a void. The display is accompanied by an 'in conversation event' in which Gormley talks to curator Paul Moorhouse about OBJECT and his views on portraiture.
Antony Gormley: OBJECT, Room 32, National Portrait Gallery, London, 7 September 2016 - 21 May 2017. Free admission.
