Jan Dibbets curates his first exhibition which investigates the nature of photography in the digital age and its relationship with the visual arts, from its invention to the present day.
Pandora’s Box at the Musée d'Art moderne de la Ville de Paris includes works by Nicéphore Niépce, Gustave Le Gray, Etienne-Jules Marey and Eadweard Muybridge, Karl Blossfeldt, Man Ray, Alexander Rodchenko, Paul Strand, Berenice Abbot and Bruce Nauman. Dibbets has previously had solo exhibitions at the Musée d'Art moderne in 1980, 1994 and 2010.
